The Mercer County Titans baseball team wrapped up the 2026 season with a 3-5 semifinal loss to the Danville Admirals. It was a good year with the Titans winning the 46th District Championship in an 11-inning fight over West Jessamine. This was the farthest Mercer has made it in the postseason under Head Coach Cody Christopher.

A big part of Mercer’s 21-16 season was the eight seniors who contributed all over the field. Those seniors included Ayden Stephens, Carter Devine, Jackson Doughty, Brayden McGuffey, Noah Worthington, Brennen Taylor, Carter Ruehs and Rylan Lake. Stephens was named 46th District player of the year for good reason. He pitched 74 innings for Mercer and struck out 77 batters and gave up 19 runs to end his senior season with a 1.42 ERA.  Stephens also led the team in hits with 47 and runs batted in (RBI) with 29.
