Christmas On Main Lights Up Downtown Harrodsburg On Saturday, Dec. 7

It’s going to be a busy holiday season in downtown Harrodsburg, with a whole lot of events scheduled for the next two weekends, including Christmas on Main on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Olde Town Park (126 South Main Street).
The downtown Christmas tree is scheduled to be lit at 6 p.m., but that’s hardly the only thing happening Saturday. There will also be craft vendors, food trucks, shopping and live music, with the Chris Linton Band scheduled to start at 5 p.m. Don’t miss the fun, including the first annual Christmas on Main scavenger hunt, the Christmas trivia contest, the Ugly Sweater contest—and Ugliest Pet Contest—and more.
Live Music
There’s going to be a full day of entertainment, with Shane White kicking things off at noon. Bo Harris plays at 3 p.m. The headliner is the Chris Linton Band, who are scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
Scavenger Hunt
Visit seven of 13 downtown locations and find the 250th Ornament hidden in each store to get your card stamped. Once you get a stamp from each location, turn your card into your last stop to enter to win a chance at a $300 prize basket. The scavenger hunt runs from 2 to 8 p.m. Participating locations include:

Trivia Contest
Get your team together and sign up to participate in the Christmas on Main Trivia Contest at Olde Town Park at 4 p.m. The first place team will win a gift basket valued at over $250. Register online at https://form.jotform.com/243357994443165.
Ugly Sweater Contest
PuppyLove KY will host the first annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, complete with a pet category. There will be pictures with Santa Paws from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Ugly, Uglier and Ugliest Pet contest is scheduled for 2 p.m. Kids (0-12) starts 2:45 p.m. Teens (13-17) starts 3:15 p.m. Adults (18 and up) starts 3:45 p.m.
Gifts for Ugly, Uglier and Ugliest pet category are provided by Happy Tails Private Boarding.
Christmas On Main is hosted by the Downtown Harrodsburg Main Street Program. J. Elliott Heating and Air is sponsoring the kids area while Whitaker Bank is sponsoring this event.
