While in the back of the patrol car, Burch yelled out the window to the victim, “I didn’t mean to shoot you twice, I hope you’re okay,” according to the uniform citation.
Police found three .45 caliber shell casings in the driveway “directly out the back door from the residence,” according to the uniform citation
The victim was airlifted for medical treatment. According to an HPD Facebook post, he is expected to survive.
Burch is being held at Boyle County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.

She took the gun out of my left pocket and shot me with it after requesting me to put her phone on the ground. After I tossed the phone. She still shot me. We have not been fighting all day. She has been resisting giving me my money back after her, not putting me on the lease trying to put me out of her house that we just got out there. This is Roosevelt Davis. If you’re going to put fax on the Internet make sure that they are straight. I am in Wisconsin now.
