The primary election happens Tuesday, May 19.
Qualified voters will be able to cast their ballots at the following six locations. Voters may cast their ballot at any location regardless of their precinct. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• National Guard Armory (500 Tapp Road).
• Barry Vandivier Center (176 Bruners Chapel Road)
• Salvisa Baptist Church CLC Building 3 (138 Kirkwood Road, Salvisa).
• McAfee Fire Station (2805 Louisville Road).
• Burgin Baptist Church (433 East Main Street, Burgin).
• The Stable at Mercer County Fair and Horse Show (560 Linden Avenue).
Republican and Democratic voters can cast their ballots for candidates for the US. Senate and the 6th Congressional District for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Republican voters can also cast their ballots for Mercer County Sheriff, Mercer County Jailer and 4th Magisterial District.
Democratic voters can also cast their ballots for the state representative for the 55th Representative District.
All voters who reside in Harrodsburg can cast their ballots for candidates for the Harrodsburg City Commission, although one candidate, Jacob Slankster, has dropped out of the race. Regardless of next week’s primary, the eight current candidates will appear on the ballot in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
