Closure On New Dixville Road Starts Thursday, May 7

New Dixville Road (Kentucky Route 1941) in Mercer County will be closed for a road slide repair between mile points 3.0 and 4.0 starting Thursday, May 7, to Friday, May 15. The roadway will be closed between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists to seek alternate routes during closure hours. Alternate routes include KY 152, KY 422, KY 1920 and U.S. 68.

KYTC asks motorists to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.

All road work is scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
