Doris Gayle Bartleson, 72, of Harrodsburg, widow of Truman Bartleson Jr., died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, in Louisville at her daughter’s home.

Born June 9, 1953, in Burgin, she was the daughter of the late John “J.P.” Price and Pauline (Bradshaw) Dunn.

She worked for Cricketeer Manufacturing Company and Hitachi, was a member of the Mercer County Democratic Women’s Club and the Mercer County Habitat for Humanity Board and was a member,  past president of the missionary society and a past president of the choir at First Baptist Church on Broadway.

Survivors include: one daughter, Tasha Gayle (Greggory) Bradley of Louisville; two sons, Paul Anthony Bartleson of Louisville and Deshon (Nikki) Bartleson of Versailles; one sister, Maureen “Sissy” Dunn of Harrodsburg; one brother, Ernest Dobbins of Lexington; three grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Sheila Dunn Reynolds, Pocahontas Bradshaw Walker, Irene Dunn and Marybell Bowman and two grandchildren, Cierra Bradley and Desha Bartleson.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, at the First Baptist Church on Broadway with Pastor Randall Bartleson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation Friday, Feb. 20, from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, 12 p.m. until the hour of services at the church.

Pallbearers will be Dante’ Bartleson, Brian Bartleson, RJ Bartleson, Landen Bartleson, Keith Dunn and Myron Russell. Honorary pallbearers are Tilton Bradshaw, Raymond “Duge” Dunn and Jack Coleman.
