Richard Caton
Richard P. Caton, 71, of Seminole, Florida, passed peacefully on Dec. 31, 2025, after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.
Born on Jan. 2, 1954, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Donald and Wanda Caton.
Richard graduated from Centre College in 1976 with a degree in government and economics. While attending Centre, he played on both the baseball and football teams and was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Richard was an attorney specializing in wills and probate, trusts and estates and real estate for over 45 years and had just recently retired. He was active in the Seminole community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club and participated in many other civic projects. He was honored as Mr. Seminole in 2009.
He was a diehard University of Kentucky basketball fan, Rays baseball enthusiast and knew the complete history of both teams. He supported his grandkids in every activity they did and you could usually find him watching them at volleyball, cheerleading, dance, basketball, soccer or baseball.
