Freda Saylor

Freda Mae Saylor, 81, wife of Lloyd Saylor, of Harrodsburg, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg.

Born Nov. 15, 1943, in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Dora (Cottongim) Parker.

She was a member of Redemption Road Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include: one son, Jerry (Tammie) George, and two sisters, Betty Williams and Sandra (Tony) Burke.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Luke George; two brothers, Johnny and James Parker; and two sisters, Lorene Parker and Janice Jackson.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 3, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Gary Yocum officiating. Burial was in the Danville Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Jerry George, Greg Childers, Tony Williams, Wesley Williams, Jess Williams, Austin Williams, Rocky Hill and Greg Begley.
