Betty Smock

Betty Smock, 68, of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born Sept. 9, 1957, in Louisville, she was the daughter of Betty (Parker) Cox and the late Charles Cox.

She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and retired as the account receivable clerk for Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include: one daughter, Mandy Smock of Harrodsburg; one son, Stacy Smock of Harrodsburg; one sister, Linda (Mike) Tarter of Harrodsburg; one brother, Jerry Cox of Louisville; former husband, Kevin Smock; one niece and one nephew.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
