Jennifer Vaughn

Jennifer Juanita Vaughn, 54, of Harrodsburg, wife of Scottie Joe Vaughn, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at her home.

Born Feb. 9, 1971, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Doris (Conner) Deaton and the late James Deaton of Harrodsburg.

She attended the Harrodsburg Independent Schools, was a homemaker and was a member of the Christian faith.

Survivors, in addition to her husband and mother, include: one daughter, Samantha Vaughn Hooker (Mark) Boswell of Eubank; three sons, Jeffrey (Taneika) Darland and Scott Vaughn Jr., both of Harrodsburg, and Jonathan Darland of Danville; three sisters, Jackie Johnson,  Sylvia Harris and Pleasent Cierra Deaton, all of Harrodsburg; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Alexander Hooker.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Sims Funeral Services, 130 North Chiles Street, Harrodsburg, KY to assist the family with funeral expenses.
