Vote Now To Make Harrodsburg Water Tower The Tank Of The Year

The water tower overlooking Mercer County Senior High School has been nominated for tank of the year and city officials are asking everyone to vote.
Earlier this year, the city voted to allow the school logo and an altered version of the Harrodsburg city logo to be painted on the tower. The school paid for the painting.
Tnemec Company Inc., which provided the protective coatings for the water tower, nominated it for Tank of the Year. Mercer County residents have until Friday, Oct. 18, to vote for their favorite tank. A committee of water tank enthusiasts will then choose 11 other finalists before making their decision on Friday, Oct. 25. Cast your vote online at tankoftheyear.com.
The current leaders are water towers from College Station, Texas; Seguin, Texas; and Sheldon, Iowa.
