Delbert Hamner

Delbert Lee Hamner, 83, husband of Florence Hamner, of Lancaster, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, in Lancaster.

Born June 13, 1940, in Burgin, he was the son of the late James Herbert and Ima Lee Galliher Hamner.

He had served as a member of the Army National Guard, was a farmer and a member of the Beuna Vista Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, includes: one son,  Scott Hamner of Lancaster; one daughter,  Faith (Scott) Beedy of Lancaster; two brothers,  Gene (Patsy) Hamner of Lancaster and Dale (Ruby) Hamner of Lancaster; one sister,  Kay Ward of Springboro, Ohio; four grandchildren;  four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers,  Jimmy Hamner, Clifford Hamner and Donald Lewis.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at the Buena Vista Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Braswell officiating.

Visitation 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
