Eva Sparks, 103, of Harrodsburg, widow of Clifton Sparks, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg.
Born April 23, 1917, in McKee, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Combs) Adkins.
She was a homemaker.

It was with great sorrow we read Miss Eva’s obituary in the Harrodsburg Herald. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for you and your entire family. She will be greatly missed!
When and IF our therapy dogs are allowed to go back into the nursing homes to visit, if just won’t be the same without the 3 of you there at HHC. There were many times Jimmy and Ellie would greet us even before we got out of our car. The dogs were always so excited to see each other. Visiting with Miss Eva was always one of the highlights of each visit there. We came to know her and love her over these past 5 years of volunteering – even if it was only 5 minutes twice a month. It’s just not going to be the same without her beautiful smile, Jimmy’s steadfast faithfulness to always be at her side and Ellie Mae’s lively spirit lovingly nestled on the bed beside her. You have made a profound impact on our lives and you will be greatly missed. Just wanted you to know.
