Charles Derringer

Charles C. Derringer, 84, of Shelbyville, widower of Mary Lou Hoover Derringer, died on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, at Baptist Health Louisville.   

Born in Washington County, he was the son of the late Edward Ray and Myrtle Frances Harmon Derringer.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shelbyville and he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated the Shoe Box Shoe Store, Swap and Post Antiques and the Pot o’ Gold Jewelry store in Shelbyville. He was the owner and operator of Derringer and Willard Used Cars.
