Linda Alexander

Linda Alexander, 71 of Lancaster, died on Monday, May 6, 2019, after a valiant fight with cancer.

She was a graduate of Somerset High School and retired from IBM/Lockheed Martin in which she was instrumental in the research, development and marketing for the NASA space program.

She also held an 11-year tenure as president of Herrington Lake Conservation League.

Survivors include: one brother, Jim Alexander; niece Karey Sue (Justin) Nevels; nephew Tyler (Sarah) Alexander and grandnephew, Jay Tyler Alexander; one special godson and goddaughter, Colton and Caroline Thomas.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Alexander, and her father, Thurston Alexander.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 10, at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville.
