John A. Sullivan, 94, of Harrodsburg and Kenansville, Fla., passed away on Oct. 9, 2017.
Born on Oct. 8, 1923, he was the son of Charles Blount Sullivan II and Ann Litsey Sullivan of Harrodsburg.
Prior to graduating from Centre College, he served in WWII making the invasion of France at Omaha in 1944. He received three bronze stars.
Mr. Sullivan was a successful businessman, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He loved hunting, fishing, and UK Basketball.
