EUNICE LOGAN

Eunice Logan, 63, wife of Boone Logan, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016.

Born in Alaska and later raised in Oregon, she was the daughter of Gene and Lillian Elliot.

Eunice is survived by her husband Boone, whom she met when both were students at Asbury College in Wilmore, her sons, Ben (Ruth), Aaron, Chris (Laura); grandson Daniel Boone; brothers, Fred and Gordon Elliott; sister-in-law Julie Logan and many other relatives and friends.

Eunice was a past president of Mercer County Right to Life and a long time member of Thoroughbred Figure Skating Club. She was the president of the Bluegrass Ovarian Cancer Support Group at the time of her passing.

Her other pursuits included designing old English smocking patterns and children’s clothing patterns. These hobbies turned into a business known as Angel Wears which she ran from home for several years. Eunice homeschooled her sons, and enjoyed supporting Boy Scout Troop 473 with lots of cookies. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing, fiber arts, shooting sporting clays, travel canoeing and camping with her family.

Funeral services were held Tuesday Nov. 22, at 4:30 p.m. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington. Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery, Bird Branch Rd., Pineville, KY 40977.
