Lady Titans tennis edges Lady Golden Lions

Mercer County senior tennis player Samantha Green hit a forehand Thursday in her 6-1, 6-0 victory over Katlyn Beauchamp.

The Mercer County Lady Titans Tennis Team edged out the Garrard County Lady Golden Lions Thursday night, winning 3-2.

The Lady Titans won all three singles matches. Kyleigh Murray defeated Emily Major 6-2, 6-2 at number one singles. Senior Samantha Green defeated Kaylyn Beauchamp 6-1, 6-0 at number two singles and Avery Thompson defeated Ashley Graves 6-2, 6-1 at number three singles.
