Mercer Girls Tennis Team Sweeps Berea Tournament

The Mercer Girls Tennis team swept all courts against West Jessamine and Berea on Saturday, April 12, claiming victory in the Berea Community Invitational Tournament.
Against West Jessamine, Erin Pigman defeated Emily Ingram 6-2, 6-0, and Kyleigh Murray defeated Britt Fugmann 6-0, 6-1 to take both singles points.
In the doubles matchups, Christy Ingram and Samantha Green came from behind to top Leann Straight and Bailey Ludt. Ingram and Green dropped the first match 0-6 before storming back to win 7-5, 1-0.
