Isaac Watts

Isaac “Ike” Watts, 73, husband of Martha Cheak Watts, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013.
Born Feb. 21, 1939, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Isaac and Mamie Downey Watts. He was chief deputy property valuation administrator for Jessamine County for 33 years. He was member of the Sulphur Well Christian Church, past president of the Jessamine Jaycees, founding member and former treasurer of Jessamine County Hospice and a coach for the Jessamine Youth Football league.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Gina (Bart) Johns and Lisa (Brent) Jennings, three sisters, Mildred Pugh, Hazel Stamper and Jane (Buddy) McRay, a foster brother, John Gary Curtsinger; three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, Linda Berry and Jack Watts.
