Robert L. Thompson

Robert L. Thompson, 61, of Harrodsburg, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born Aug. 2, 1951 in Danville, he was the son of the late Emmett W. and Edna May Young Thompson.   He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired Kentucky Utilities employee and member of the Pioneer Baptist Church. He was also past commander of the American Legion Post 52.

Survivors include  a sister, Ruth Allen Thompson and a brother, Nelson “Walkie” Thompson, both of Harrodsburg and a niece, Emma Thompson.
