Herbert Egolf

Herbert O. Egolf, 76, of Harrodsburg, formerly of Valparaiso, Ind.,  widow of Stella “Guarney” Hunt, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at his residence.  

Born July 24, 1936 in LaPorte, Ind., he was the son of the late Argyl and Ruth Cathcart Egolf.  He graduated from Hanna High School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  He worked as a service technician for Sears.

He is survived by two sons, Bart (Judy) Egolf of San Pierre,  Ind., Frankie Egolf, Sr. of Lexington and Tammy (Ralph) Saxe of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Arthur Egolf of Texas and Lloyd Egolf of LaPorte, Ind.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
