Lady Titans Soccer Take Out Pulaski County 4-0

The Mercer County Lady Titans soccer team picked up their 12th win of the season Thursday night shutting out the Lady Maroons of Pulaski County (6-7-2), 4-0. 

Mercer senior Shannon Murray led the way offensively contributing on all four of the Lady Titans goals, scoring three times and assisting Gentry Brown on the fourth. Samantha Travillian booked two assists to Murray with Nikki Wilham picking up the team’s fourth assist on goal. 

The win put Mercer (12-5-1) in a three way tie for the second most wins in the 12th Region with Boyle County (12-5-3) and East Jessamine (12-8-1) trailing to only Lincoln County (13-3-2). Mercer tied Lincoln County in their only game this year and defeated East Jessamine twice, each time in shoot outs.
