Ronnie Sharp

Ronnie B. “Ron” Sharp,  61, of Lexington, husband of Debbie Fuller Sharp, died April 14, 2012.  

He was the son of Annabelle Sharp and the late E.B. Sharp.  He received degrees in religion and music from Campbellsville University and served as pastor and music director of several churches in Central Kentucky. He was a certified piano technician and member and past president of The Piano Technician Guild of Lexington. He was a former Lion’s Club member and was recently serving as Chairman of Deacons at Central Baptist Church in Lexington.  

Sharp will be missed by his family and friends who shared his many talents and willingness to help with any task.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Jeremy (Frances) Sharp of Virginia, Jonathan Sharp of Lawrenceburg and Roy Edward Rowlett of Lexington; two sisters, Nancy (Filson) Vaught and Barbara (Bob) West of Lexington and four nephews, David Vaught and Nathan West of Lexington, Wayne Vaught of Overland Park, Kan. and Rob West of Ames, Iowa.
