Lady Titans Win 12 Straight

The Mercer County Lady Titans picked up their 12th straight win and a little revenge over the Lady Golden Lions of Garrard County (18-10) Monday night in Garrard County.

The Lady Golden Lions ended Mercer’s season last year defeating the Lady Titans in double overtime, 49-45, in the opening round of the 12th Region Tournament. With neither team losing a senior from last years teams, Monday night’s game was as true of a rematch as you can get in high school sports.
