Local Man Accused Of Breaking Into Home And Lighting Fireworks Inside It

A local man has been accused of breaking into a home and setting off fireworks inside it.
Trenden White, 18, of 328 Tewmey Lane, is accused of breaking in the back door of a town home on June 25 at approximately 7 p.m. and lighting fireworks inside, endangering two people inside the dwelling.
According to the complaint originally filed by Cpl. Richard Reilly of the Harrodsburg Police Department, the cost of damage, including damage done by the fireworks, was around $3,000.
White is also accused of knowingly inducing two minors into felony criminal behavior (burglary), according to the complaint
On Tuesday, July 7, White was served with a warrant by Patrolman Joshua Kerby (HPD). White has been charged with 2nd degree burglary, 1st degree arson, 1st degree wanton endangerment (two counts), 2nd degree unlawful transaction with a minor (two counts) and 1st degree criminal mischief—residential rental property.
