Mayme Eileen Burberry

Mayme Eileen Burberry, 95, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Signature Health Care of Harrodsburg.

Born Jan. 3, 1931, in Lexington, She was the daughter of the late Vernon C. and Ella V. (Boucher) Berryman. 

She was a retired nursing home administrator at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington and was a member of the Carpenter’s Christian Church.

Survivors include: four sons, Clyde “Mac” Burberry of Illinois, Stephen Burberry of Harrodsburg, Paul Mark Burberry of Harrodsburg and Les Burberry of Maple Valley, Wash. and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Breland and one brother, James Berryman.

Funeral services will be  held 1 p.m., Saturday, July 25, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with her son, Mac Burberry, officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
