The Mercer County Titans girls basketball team are in the middle of their summer schedule and traveled to Berea to beat the Madison Southern Eagles, 30-23, Thursday, June 11.
The summer scrimmages have a few different rules to speed up the games. They split the game into two 20 minutes halves instead of quarters with a four minute halftime and if the first free throw is made, it counts as two points. Mercer wasn’t at full strength with a few players missing, but have added junior point guard Dez Thomas to the team and she played all 40 minutes.
