Fireworks at Anderson-Dean Community Park happens Thursday, July 3, with the fireworks scheduled to start at dusk. In addition, there will be food trucks. The pool will be open until fireworks end.
The biggest fireworks show in Mercer County, the 22nd Annual Lights Over Herrington happens Independence Day Friday, July 4.
Shaker Village is inviting Mercer County residents to visit free of charge from Tuesday, July 1, through Sunday, July 6.
Mercer County residents with a valid ID may attend daily programs and exhibits at no cost. Admission to some attractions will be limited, and all guests must receive their complimentary passes at the Shaker Village Welcome Center upon arrival.
All adults must have valid ID demonstrating Mercer County residence to receive free admission. Children under age 18, accompanied by a qualifying adult, will also be extended free admission. Does not apply to group rates.
