Patricia Lawson

Patricia Darlene Pinkston Lawson, 80, wife of Donnie Lawson, of Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Sept. 13, 1944, in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Henry Hirschell and Lorraine (Darland) Pinkston.

She was a homemaker and a member and pianist of Deep Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband include: two sons, Marty (Lori) Lawson of Harrodsburg and Jerry Lawson of Mooreland; two sisters, Anna Bady and Bonnie Tingle, both of Harrodsburg; three brothers, Tony (Linda) Pinkston of Harrodsburg, Vance (Wanda) Pinkston of Florida and Donnie (Phyllis) Pinkston of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Dean Pinkston and Freddy Pinkston.

Funeral services were Sunday Jan. 5, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Justin Johnson and Nelson Reynolds officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date in Deep Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tyler Pinkston, Troy Pinkston, Michael Sanford, Stevie Elliott, Caleb Lawson and E.J. Lawson. Honorary pallbearers were Lisa Pinkston, Jody Pinkston Case, Nikkie Elliott Abrams and Kelly Tingle Cooper.
