Lane Closures On U.S. 127 Start Tuesday, Nov. 5

Road work is scheduled to begin on U.S. 127 Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to KYTC.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists of milling and resurfacing operations scheduled for Danville Road/US 127. Temporary lane closures are scheduled for Danville Road/US 127 in Mercer County between the Mercer-Boyle County line (milepoint 0.0) and Billy Horn Lane (milepoint 1.023).

The lane closures will run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays starting Tuesday, Nov. 5, until Tuesday, Nov. 19. Weekend work is not scheduled at this time, the KYTC said in a press release. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic.

All work—including closures—is scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

KYTC District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
