KY 1987 (Kirkwood Road) Closed at Salt River Bridge, KYTC Says

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is advising motorists that KY 1987 (Kirkwood Road) is closed at mile point 5.385 at the Salt River Bridge in Mercer County.
The closure is necessary for repairs to the bridge approach. The roadway will remain closed until further notice while repairs are completed.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
