Titans Extend Winning Streak With Comeback Victory

The Mercer County Titans baseball team (11-2) defeated the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (6-6), 9-7, in their Griffin Baker Memorial double-header Saturday, April 11.
Mercer had a rocky start in the first inning, giving up seven runs to start the game, but powered back in the second inning with six runs of their own and shut out the Patriots to win the game.
Senior Brennen Taylor got the win on the mound for Mercer after pitching four innings and striking out five batters. As a team, the Titans had 11 hits with four different players earning multiple hits.
