Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is promising an egg-citing family event with the 2026 Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday, April 4. Children aged 12 and under are invited to hunt for eggs, meet the newest additions to the farm family, make a craft, meet the Easter Bunny, take a pony ride and more. In addition to the regular egg hunts, everyone is invited to participate in the golden egg hunt to win what Shaker Village is calling a “fantastic prize.”
There will be sheep shearing at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Storytime at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Food trucks—including Captain Franks, Casa Grande, Biscuit’s BBQ Southern Style Kettle Corn and Mini Donuts and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee—will provide a variety of meal options and the Shaker Village bar will be open for adults in attendance.
The egg hunt field will be divided by age groups during each time. Participants are being advised to bring their own baskets.
