Alyssa Pittman, a senior at Mercer County Senior High School, has been named the recipient of the 2026 William “Mr. Wildcat” Bill Keightley Award, a statewide honor recognizing an outstanding high school basketball team manager who exemplifies leadership, dedication and true team spirit.

The prestigious award is named in honor of William “Mr. Wildcat” Bill Keightley, a legendary figure in Kentucky basketball history. Keightley played at Kavanaugh High School in Lawrenceburg before attending Eastern Kentucky University and later serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
