City amends personnel policy, refines job descriptions

 

 

 

 

 

 

The City of Harrodsburg held its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 9, at City Hall. The Commission approved amendments to personnel policy, including redefining job descriptions of public service workers for each department.

Seven new ordinances were presented and approved for the wastewater, cemetery and streets and park maintenance departments. Job descriptions will no longer be general descriptions for public service workers, but will be department-specific. Job roles will also be differentiated for public service I, II and III for each department. There was also an ordinance passed to create the job description for the fire chief.
