The fall of 2025 will be unprecedented territory for Mercer County volleyball Head Coach Lynn Flach. Now approaching her tenth consecutive season as leader of the Lady Titans, Flach has never coached a team with as much veteran talent as the 2025 Lady Titan squad. Seven class of 2026 graduates lead what could be the strongest lineup in recent Mercer volleyball history. Madi Collier, Ella Davis, Austin Marie Dean, Mia Floro, Grayson Perry, Ralasia Piazza and Addisen Shepherd have grown together throughout their volleyball careers. In fact, six of the seven seniors have been coached by Flach since as early as fifth grade, and Flach could not be more excited to see how they perform in their final season as Lady Titans.
“Last year I had no seniors, and my setter was out with an ACL tear. Now I have seven seniors who are all very capable leaders on and off the court, and they have all become polished in their skills. It should be a very fun season to watch these girls take the court for their final hoorah,” said Flach.
Each of the seniors spent most of each game on the court last season gaining much needed experience, and have grown tremendously over the offseason according to Flach. Still, this year’s team will have one crucial piece it was forced to be without a season ago, setter Grayson Perry, who was forced to sit out her junior season with a torn ACL.
“Grayson Perry is a huge leader on the court. She just instills confidence into everyone on the team. The girls are all glad to have her back on the floor,” said Flach, who believes Perry can be a game changer.
Since her injury, Perry was able to compete with the track team last spring, and after going through summer conditioning with the volleyball program, she has learned to appreciate the little things.
“It was very hard sitting out last season because volleyball’s everything, but it just makes you appreciate the little things. You never realize how grateful you are for conditioning and running until you’re back, and I’m very excited and very ready to play and give it my all,” said Perry, who added why she believes this Lady Titan squad is special.

What a great story on the Lady Titans!!!!! I personally know Coach Flach and she is a true leader both on the court and in the classroom. She always gives 100% to her students and puts them first! She is a very kind and considerate teacher, Coach, Friend, Mother, wife and above all a fantastic grandmother of two beautiful children. Both my husband and myself wish her a very happy and successful year of teaching and coaching. All the best!!!! Go Lady Titans!!!!!
Thanks for recognizing such a dedicated teacher and coach!!!!
