The Mercer County Lady Titan soccer team has had an electrifying start to the 2024 season. The girls kicked off the season with a 4-2 win over Nelson County and a 6-0 win over Danville before taking down Henry County 3-0 on Saturday, Aug. 17. This is only the third Lady Titans team this century to start the season 3-0.
“Their effort for the entire game is the best it has been in a while. They do not stop. They play from start to finish and battle for every ball. They work hard for each other. They are hungry and don’t want to let each other down. They hold each other accountable and respect each other,” said Head Coach Josh Culver of what has made the Lady Titans so dominant over their first three games.

Senior and Lady Titan captain Adison Wilham looked to switch the ball across the field during Mercer County’s 3-0 win over Henry County on Saturday, Aug. 17.
