Sarah Bottom

Sarah Frances Woods Bottom, widow of William Armond Bottom, died Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Harrodsburg. Born Aug. 16, 1928, in the Woods’ family home ‘Woodsland’ in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Lewis Curry and Minnie Wilder Woods. She was a descendant of early Harrodsburg pioneers and settlers. She was a 1946 graduate of Harrodsburg High School and attended Union College and the University of Kentucky and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Blair Bottom of Frankfort and Marsha (Mark) Noel of Harrodsburg and one grandson, Chadwick (Sarah) Noel of Lawrenceburg and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rea Yates of New Castle and two brothers, Jack and Lewis (Shank) Woods, both of Harrodsburg.
