Georgia Cocanougher

Georgia Cocanougher, 83 of Harrodsburg, died Saturday, July 15, 2023, at The Willows in Harrodsburg. Born Feb. 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Anna Mae Carter Lester. She was a retired farmer and a member of the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Addison Cocanougher of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Eulaine Carey of Wisconsin, and Ethel  Gray of Harrodsburg; godson, J.J. Carey of Texas five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Cocanougher and Bobby Gray; one daughter, Lou Ella Cocanougher, two sisters, Edith Lester and Evelyn Coyle.
