Ricky Rice

Ricky Gene Rice, 64, husband of Marie Rice, died Monday, May 22, 2023, in Harrodsburg. Born Nov. 14, 1958, he was the son of Doris Mae, “Peggy” Merriman Rice and the late Kelly Dean Rice. He was a former Hitachi employee and self-employed drywaller for Rice Drywall, a member of the St. Phillips Episcopal Church and an Honorable Kentucky Colonel. Survivors, in addition to his wife and mother, include: one daughter, April (Chad) Booth, of Lawrenceburg; one brother, Anthony Drew (Cari) Rice, of Harrodsburg, one uncle, one aunt, two nieces, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several more family members.
