Denny Cocanougher

Denny Stewart Cocanougher, 90, husband of Joanne Huffman, died Sunday, May 21, 2023. Born July 13, 1932, in Danville, he was the son of the late Elmer D. and Catherine Butler Cocanougher. He was a carpenter, in road construction, as an engineering supervisor, and was a member and deacon of Doctors Fork Baptist Church in Perryville. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: two sons, Tommy (Barbara) Cocanougher of Claremore, Okla., and David (Monique) Cocanougher of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Sherrie Cocanougher of Punta Gorda, Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Johnny Cocanougher; one brother, Jimmie Cocanougher and one sister, Georgia Gasser.
