Anthony Sexton

Anthony Wayne “Tony” Sexton, 75, husband of Cheryl Anne (King) Sexton, of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born May 1, 1948, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Frank and Jean (Carr) Sexton. He was a 1966 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, attended the University of Kentucky, was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army, and was a control room employee for Kentucky Utilities Dix Dam Hydro Plant. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: two daughters, Maggie (Toby) Hurst of Harrodsburg and Persis (Daniel) Ormond of Nicholasville; two sons, Russell (Cristita) Sexton of Perryville and Neil (Kim) Sexton of Lexington; two sisters, Patty (Johnny) Rawlings and Staddie Jane Dearinger both of Harrodsburg and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Salvia; one brother, Frank Meredith; one sister, Ann Dearinger, and one grandchild, Paisleigh Hurst.
