EDITH DEAN

Edith Lois Dean, 72, of Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Lee Miller Dean, died Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at her home.

Born Oct. 13, 1950, in Knott County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sophia (Combs) Caudill.

She was a retired legal secretary for Dean, Dean and Dean Law Office and was a member of the Carpenter’s Christian Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include: three daughters, Alison (Mark) Lausche of Cincinnati, Ohio, Elaine (Willie C.) Turpin of Harrodsburg and Leslie (Melvin Jr.) Drury of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Sharon Caudill of Junction City and Ann Woods of Harrodsburg; five brothers, Doug Caudill of Somerset, Kenny (Sheila) Caudill of Harrodsburg, Charles “Tiny” Caudill of Lawrenceburg, Lennis Caudill of Alabama and Clarence (Vickie) Caudill of Burgin and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Marsha Wilcher, Doris Bentley, Helen Reynolds, Joyce Caudill, and Jeannie Liddell.
