The 0-12-1 Burgin Bulldogs faced the 10-10 West Jessamine Colts on Thursday, April 20.

The Colts wasted no time getting three fast runs until Burgin second baseman Adrian Quiroz caught a fly-out, giving the Colts less room to breathe. Shortly after, Buring forced another out coming from a ground ball that was picked up by shortstop Jacob Qualls, who then threw it to first baseman David Lynn. The Bulldogs gave up another hit, but it was caught by Jackson Smith and the Colts finished the top of the first inning up 6-0.

Burgin did not capitalize on their opportunity at bat with three consecutive outs.
