MARY ALLISON

Mary Ellen Allison, 66, died Feb. 17, 2023.

Born on April 12, 1956, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Allison.

She was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School and Western Kentucky University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in theater and business and a Masters in Theater, was a tenured professor at Rampbo College  of New Jersey and taught stage management and directing, and was a professional stage manager from Broadway and off-Broadway and authored “A Survival Guide for Stage Managers.”

Survivors include: one daughter, Hanna Allison; two brothers, Jim (Elizabeth) Allison and John (Carolyn) Allison; one sister, Beth Minassian; special friend, Kaden Woodward; and several nieces and nephews.
