Salvisa Man Killed On Louisville Road

A Salvisa man is dead after being struck by a car on Louisvlle road.

The Kentucky State Police say they received a call just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, about a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on US-127 in Mercer County.

According to the KSP, a 2021 Audi A4 driven by Wyatt Lucas, 25, of Lexington, was traveling south on Louisville Road when he struck a pedestrian on the roadway.

The pedestrian was identified as Bobby Hardin, 67, of Salvisa.

According to KSP, Hardin was fatally injured and pronounced dead on the scene by the Mercer County Coroner. The driver was not injured in the collision.

The investigation is being conducted by KSP Trooper Tyler Holt. Holt was assisted on the scene by Kentucky State Police personnel, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, Mercer County EMS, the Mercer County Fire District and the Mercer County Coroner’s Office.
