LORAINE DARLAND

Loraine A. Darland, 76, of Harrodsburg, wife of William Lee “Shorty” Darland, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at her home.

Born Oct. 28, 1946, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Flora Lee (Lane) Asbury. 

She was a graduate of Hustonville High School  and was a retired seamstress after working for Cricketeer, Mercer Dress and Cowden in Danville and was former owner of Darland Auto Repair.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include: one daughter, Neana (Devon) Dugan of Lexington; two sisters, Modene Asbury of Danville and Phyllis Jean Pendygraft of Junction City; seven grandchildren; one son-in-Law, Norman Hall of Harrodsburg, seven grandchildren an 14 great-grandchildren.
