GEORGE MATHEWS
George Mathews, 55, husband of Karen Hughes Mathews, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, at his residence.
Born Dec. 17, 1966, in Bell, Calif., he was the son of Mary Margaret “Bunny” Filius Tackett of Helendale, Calif. and the late Edward A. Mathews.
He was a truck driver and had worked as a truck spotter at Bay West.
Survivors, in addition to his wife and mother include: two sons, George (Brittany) Mathews II of Cincinnati and Adam Mathews of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Becky (Chris) Craig of Harrodsburg and Jessica (Robert) Connelly of Stanford; three brothers; three; sisters and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Alexander Scott Connelly.
