DANNY SALLEE SR.

Danny Dale Sallee Sr., 73, of Harrodsburg, husband of Debbie (Donahue) Sallee, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at his home.

Born Jan. 17, 1949, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late LaRue and Rilda (Slone) Sallee. 

He was a 1967 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, attended Campbellsville University-Harrodsburg campus where he was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society, was a retired from Eaton, Signet and Modine and became a full-time minister at the Friendship Baptist Church. 

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: one daughter, Cheryl Delynn Sallee of Harrodsburg; one son, Danny Dale (Jennifer) Sallee Jr. of Harrodsburg;  one brother, Mike (Laurie) Sallee of Elizabethtown; two sisters-in-law, Connie Donahue (MD) Stowe of North Carolina and Frances Sallee of Nicholasville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; 

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Thomas Sallee and Donald Ray Sallee.
